Voici quelques informations sur le "DOG Clone" aka "West Coast DOG Clone" et sur la OG Kush :

"In late '93 John from Grass Valley Ca. got the Chem Dog cut. He shared it with me, Jerry(cowboy) from Dibble Creek Ca. and Harold(Putz) from Sunset Beach Ca. Putz had a male he called the secret ingredient. It was a cross of Lemon Thai and an Old World Paki Kush. Putz bred the secret ingredient to the Chem Dog. The buds that came out of this cross were going around So. L.A. county in '95. Someone told Putz that Kush must be so good because it was mountain grown. Putz laughed and told him "this Kush is Ocean Grown Kush bro". The tag stuck and it became known as OG Kush. In the spring of '96 Putz married a girl from New Zealand. Before moving there he sent cuts of his OG to me and Bob(beans) in Salinas Ca. He gave all his P1 stock and all the remaining seed he had to Mike(mad dog) from Downey Ca. In late '96 Mike sold some seed to some guys in the Valley. That's where the San Fernando Valley cut of OG comes from. It's like the Original only more sat in pheno type. Mike sold a cut of the original to a guy in Orange county and that cut is called Larry today. It's still around Orange county. Mike sent one other cut of the original OG to a breeder in Europe. As far as I know he never let anyone else have it.
Jerry bred his Chem Dog cut to a Humboldt county indica boy. This was the beginning of his cubing proccess. At BX3 he got a pheno that had all the smell, taste and kick of the Chem Dog, but in a pure indica pheno. Jerry gave this plant to Bob. It became known as the West Coast Dog."

" Début 1993, John de Grass Valley (Californie) récupéra le Chem Dog cut. Il l’a ensuite partagé avec moi, Jerry (cowboy) de Dibble Creek (Californie), ainsi qu’Harold (Putz) de Sunset Beach (Californie). Putz avait un mâle qu’il appelait « l’ingrédient secret ».
Ce mâle était un croisement entre une « lemon thaï » et une « kush pakistanaise ».
Putz croisa alors ce mâle avec le Chem Dog.
Durant l’année 1995, ce croisement a pas mal circulé dans le comté de Los Angeles.
Quelqu’un dit à Putz que le nom de « Kush » irait bien à ce croisement vu qu’il avait poussé en montagne. Putz se mit à rire et lui dit « cette Kush est une Ocean Grown Kush vu qu’elle a poussé au niveau de l’océan fréro ».
L’expression resta et ce croisement fut alors connu sous le nom de « OG Kush ».
Durant le printemps 1996, Putz s’est marié avec une Néo-zélandaise.
Avant de partir là-bas, il m’envoya des boutures de cette OG Kush ainsi qu’à Bob (beans) de Salinas (Californie).
Il confia tout son stock de P1 et toutes les graines qui lui restaient à Mike (mad dog) de Downey (Californie).
Mike vendit alors pas mal de graines dans la vallée.
De ces graines d’OG Kush est sorti un phéno appelé « San Fernando Valley Cut », un clone quasi identique à l’original.
Mike vendit une bouture du clone original à un gars du comté d’Orange. Il est connu à l’heure actuelle sous le nom de « Larry Cut ». Il y tourne encore.
Mike envoya aussi une bouture du clone original d’OG Kush à un breeder en Europe.
D’après ce que j’en sais, il n’a plus jamais partagé ce clone depuis.
Jerry croisa son clone de Chem Dog avec un mâle indica venant du comté de Humboldt.
C’était le début de son programme de cubing.
Arrivé au BX3 (3ème backcross), il tomba sur un phéno ayant à la fois l’odeur, le goût et la puissance du Chem Dog mais avec un type purement indica.
Jerry donna cette plante à Bob.
On la connaît depuis sous le nom de « West Coast Dog ». "

« Info on the different cuts of OG Kush:

- Tahoe cut = Brough into the community by Swerve. The grower that Swerve got it from had sourced the cut in the Lake Tahoe area in the 90's.

- Larry cut = The Orange County Larry cut that is availble in the medical scene came from the same Orange County crew that the H.A O.G Kush came from.

- SFV cut = There are a million O.G cuts grown in the S.F.V, however the cut that goes by this name on these forums and in medical disp. came from forum member Swerve.

- Ghost cut = This cut came from ORGNKID, ORGNKID had sold a O.G cut to a Overgrow forum member named "Ghost" who further distributed the cut.

- Tripple OG cut = This cut came from ORGNKID. This cut is A.K.A Triple X/XXX O.G Kush. Triple O.G was popularly sold to medical patients by the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.

- SAC #2 cut = Cut brought into the scene by forum member O.Gkushman, O.Gkushman got the cut from DJ Muggs.

- P.R OG cut A.K.A Private Reserve O.G cut = Another O.G cut that ORGNKID brought into the scene.
The cut was sold to Med patients as Private Reserve O.G through the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.

- Apothecary cut = O.G cut brought into the scene by the apothecary seed co's Brett. Brett got it from a high profile Medical MJ activist in L.A back in 1999.

- Diablo cut = This = cut came from the R.D.C disp. In the San Fernando Valley.

- Raskal's OG cut = Another cut sourced in the San Fernando Valley. Cut was bought for several thousand dollars from ******* members by a friends of forum member OGraskal.

- HA OG cut = Cut came from an commercial H.A room in Orange County, grown by the same crew that brought the Orange County Larry cut into the medical Disp.

- Poison OG cut = Cut came from O.Gkushman, he grew it from seed found in a pound of O.G back in ‘96.

- SAC #1 and #3 cuts = #1 came from G-Thumb in the San Fernando Valley, #3 came from San Fernando Valley but is very popular in Santa Barbara and sometimes goes by the name “Purple O.G Kush”, the cut was brought into the scene by the owner of the now defunct Hortipharm in Santa Barbara. »

Informations sur les différents clones de OG Kush :

- Tahoe cut = Apporté à la communauté par Swerve. Le grower lui ayant fourni situe l'origine du clone dans la région du lac Tahoe durant les années 90.

- Larry cut = Ce clone qui a aussi une utilisation médicale nous viens du même groupe de growers dans le comté d'Orange, tout comme le H.A OG cut.

- SFV (San Fernando Valley) cut = Les clones d'OG Kush issus de la vallée de San Fernando sont innombrables, cependant le clone connu sous ce nom sur les forums et dans les dispensaires nous vient de Swerve.

- Ghost cut = Ce clone nous est venu d'ORGNKID. ORGNKID avait vendu un clone d'OG Kush à Ghost, un membre d'Overgrow, qui ensuite fit tourner ce clone.

- Triple OG cut = Ce clone nous est venu d'ORGNKID. Ce clone est aussi appelé "Triple X/XXX OG Kush". Le "Triple OG" fut largement vendu à des patients du dispensaire "C.A.L.M" de Malibu, un lieu fermé depuis.

- SAC #2 cut = Ce clone provient d'O.Gkushman, membre d'un forum. Il l'a lui-même eu par DJ Muggs (du groupe Cypress Hill).

- P.R OG cut A.K.A Private Reserve OG cut = Encore un clone apporté à la scène cannabique par ORGNKID. Ce clone a été vendu à des patients du dispensaire C.A.L.M de Malibu en tant que "Réserve Spéciale".

- Apothecary cut = Ce clone fut introduit sur la scène cannabique par Brett de la compagnie "Apothecary Seeds".
Brett l'avait lui-même reçu d'un activiste engagé dans l'utilisation médicale du cannabis, à Los Angeles au cours de l'année 1999.

- Diablo cut = Ce clone vient du dispensaire R.D.C dans la vallée de San Fernando.

- Raskal's OG cut = Un autre clone provenant de la vallée de San Fernando. Le clone a été acheté plusieurs milliers de dollars à "*******" (forumeur inconnu), par un ami du forumeur OGraskal.

- H.A OG cut = (J'hésite un peu sur la traduction car "H.A" peut signifier "Home Automation (domotique)", "Hectares (1ha=10000m2), "High Altitude"... Je penche plus pour la 1ère possibilité.)
Ce clone nous vient d'une chambre de culture commerciale "automatisée" (="industrielle") dans le comté d'Orange.
Il s'agit de la même équipe de growers à l'origine du Larry cut.

- Poison OG cut = O.Gkushman est à l'origine de ce clone, il le fit pousser à partir d'une graine trouvée dans une livre (pound = livre = 16 OZ = 453,592 g) d'OG Kush durant l'année 1996.

- SAC #1 et #3 cuts = Le clone #1 vient de G-Thumb dans la vallée de San Fernando, le #3 vient de la même vallée mais il est aussi très populaire à Santa Barbara et on le trouve parfois sous le nom de "Purple O.G Kush". Le clone a été apporté à la communauté par le propriétaire d'Hortipharm à Santa Barbara, un dispensaire aujourd'hui fermé.

Il est intéressant de constater que l'utilisation thérapeutique du cannabis a pu permettre la sélection de clones spécifiques pour leur effet, lié sans doute à un chémotype particulier.
Au pays de Sarkozy (et de la gauche bien pensante...), on en est malheureusement très loin...

Suite au photo de Link, je me permet de rajouter quelques infos sur les OG kush

tahoe - maybe a slightly lower yielder than others, real tear drop calyx, almost greyish/silvery look to the buds. Smells of kerosene, fuel, earth, some slight lemon and pine. but mostly a gas greasey type og. More indica type effect than others

valley - One of the better yielding. There are several different valley/sfv/818 etc cuts. This particular one a friend acquired in 2005. my friend got the cut from his friend who was moving and had to backup his genetics. In 99-00 the guy paid 5k for a tray of cuts that had valley og, victorville og, sour og, and og diesel. ok im rambling.
But the valley is a lemon pine skunk. One of my favorites, but im biased cause its the one ive been smoking the longest. More of a immediate sativa head rush type buzz, but still your typical blend of effects that og has.

raskal/fire - one of the stronger stemmed more vigorous og's when dialed. But sometimes can be a bit finicky. The leaves have really noticeable SHARP serations, like it stands out amongst other ogs. Lemon pledge earth fresh-soil skunk funk. Great all encompasing high, can yield well, one of the better all around ogs. Its fucking dank.

diablo - id say its a skunky BO funk type of og. Real chunky top colas, bright orange hairs, kind of a lighter hue to the buds. One of those initial sativa type buzz that fades into a indica stone. I really dig it, but she seems to always kind of get forgotten about and i am more often running other ogs instead.

face off - Have my first run of it at 60 days right now. so far visually its one of the better more finished looking ogs for 60 days. It looks ready to chop but im going 70. Smells incredible. Earthy piney lemon. Hard to really differentiate the minor nuances of smell between each cut. This one is really LOUD compared to a louisxiii i had 12 days ahead of it going at the same time

triangle kush - my favorite og. i consider the most potent and most complex flavored. Very similar smelling to valley, but a lot stronger smell, and with a cologne/perfume type tone to it. Nostril stinging, but at the same time has a sort of incense,church, attic/garage. Its got more tones of smells to it than any other cut. Its also probably the lowest yielding. other og cuts next to given the same training/lst, and the tk will be 1/3rd as bushy, just wants to grow up.

BTY - The best yielding all around dankest. My 2nd favorite. Strong stemmed, super vigorous, skunky pledge earth. If i could only grow one og it would be it. if you have a tent of a bunch of og's it just shits on all the others.

king louis xiii - Just finished my first run of her. Super nice stacking of the top colas, but the stems are the tiniest/weakest of any og i have ever ran. Can be extremely picky, but if kept healthy is quite fast/vigorous. predominately earthy fresh soil type og smell.

southwest - Id say the most finicky of the ogs i have, but can yield really well when happy. Has a almost unique look to it in veg compared to others. Usually a lighter lime green, and takes forever to get out of the 3 leaf blades. Super lemon candy. straight sour lemon heads. Has a more silver/light color to the buds. When dialed the taste on it is lip smacking good.
